Our Attention to Detail
We equipped this watch with both Trigalight® H3 and SuperLuminova® markings.
We design all of our watches to look incredible on your wrist while maintaining legibility in all lighting conditions. The AOPA Pilot's Chronograph is equipped with tritium markings, which is a slightly radioactive isotope of hydrogen. When mixed with phosphor-based paint, it emits continuous light. This high-quality detail allows for maximum functionality. So you can confidently wear and use your JM watch at any time of the day.
*The displayed photo shows both the Trigalight® H3 and Superluminova® markings fully illuminated - Superluminova brightness will lower over time until exposed to light again.
We design our watches to look stunning from every angle. It's like a piece of art on your wrist - show it off.
We are fascinated by the history and original usage of the watch. Throughout history, the wrist watch was an essential instrument with necessary functions that solved needs beyond just telling time. These iconic watch-wearing endeavors inspire each of our collection designs. Our designers want to tell those stories on every surface of our watches - even the back. So you can be proud to showcase your JM timepiece from all angles.
We design all of our watches to be resistant to water damage. So you can go anywhere, worry-free.
We understand that coming into contact with water is a daily occurrence. All Jack Mason watches are assembled and tested for water resistance of at least 10ATM (100 meters) to ensure safety from any day to day contact with water. An ATM is a unit of measurement used to indicate the water resistance of a watch. One atmosphere (ATM) equals 10 meters. We are committed to ensuring maximum protection against water damage so you can experience the feeling of worry-free watch wearing.
Even our buckles are designed to last. Tough enough to withstand your daily adventure.
When it comes to details, we don’t take shortcuts. We use detailed machine processes to cut the small tongue part of the buckle out of solid stainless steel. The result is a much stronger buckle attachment compared to a hammered/bent wire process. Using solid stainless steel for our buckle components means that you can venture on without concern of compromising your watch strap durability.
316L Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel lasts longer and resists corrosion. Strong enough to handle your everyday life.
All of our watches are made with grade 316 stainless steel which has a better resistance to chemicals and chlorides (like salt) than grade 304 stainless steel. Grade 304 is commonly used in fast fashion watch brands. 316L is a surgical grade stainless steel that is trusted for its durability and longevity. This level of quality is important to us because whether it involves water, sweat, heat or dirt, we don’t want you to stop doing what you do.
We protected our AOPA watch with a virtually shatter-proof acrylic crystal.
For a pilot’s chronograph, it’s important that the covering is made with a more flexible material allowing better protection from cracking or popping out during altitude changes. We designed our AOPA watch to be the ultimate pilot’s tool, so we made sure to attend to each pilot-requested detail, such as the material of the glass covering.
