WATCHMAKING IN THE USA

Rooted In American Craft

Since our founding in 2015, our dedication to American watchmaking has been a primary focus. Each watch is designed in Dallas, Texas and proudly built in the United States by our team of expert watchmakers in order to maintain the high standard of excellence that Jack Mason watches are known for.

Building on a century of excellence

For almost 100 years, American innovation and craftsmanship dominated the watch industry. Starting around 1850, American brands took advantage of the country’s manufacturing prowess to turn slow mechanical processes into standardized watch production by utilizing specialized machines. Brands like Hamilton, Elgin, and Waltham were pioneers and helped define the American watch. However, by 1950, the Great Depression left almost all watchmakers having to cease commercial production and close up shop.

Reviving American Watchmaking

We’re on a mission to re-establish America as a powerful watchmaking hub. Together, our team of USA based designers, watchmakers, and support technicians are working to bring the United States back to the forefront of the conversation. The domestic processes we have put in place are paramount for high levels of quality control and top-notch servicing.

Built The Right Way

From hand-regulated movements to a dedicated after-sales service team, every decision reflects a belief that American luxury is earned through discipline and doing things the right way. Durable materials, exacting standards, and long-term reliability aren’t features, they’re the defining principles of every Jack Mason watch.

“What we make is shaped as much by discipline as it is by imagination. If it carries our name, it has to earn it.”

– Peter Cho, Co-founder
