The Canton was designed to be the perfect everyday watch. Featuring a La Joux Perret G100 movement that boasts 68 hours of power reserve, the Canton is packed with performance features a daily commuter would need in any environment. The case measures 39mm in width and 46mm lug to lug, making it the absolute perfect size for any wrist. The Canton features a unique waffle textured dial with a beautiful sunray finish to add depth and visual interest. The agave colored dial is a muted and slightly desaturated green making it a neutral tone to match any outfit. To meet the needs of the daily grind, a scratch resistant coating has been added to the bracelet in addition to a micro-adjusting bracelet clasp.

"Really had a great experience purchasing this watch by appointment at Jack Mason. The watch has become my favorite. The quick adjust bracelet is a game changer living in a hot and humid climate. The agave dial is stunning, and the finishing is very nice overall. The longer power reserve compared to my other watches is also a great feature."
"I’m not really a watch guy but visited Hands on horology in London with some friends, there were so many beautiful watches by brands I’d never heard of, Ball had some incredible watches but I was able to walk away with my bank account intact, I spotted the Jack Mason Canton from a distance and was drawn in, it looked and felt perfect on my wrist, it has some great features like the hardened case and bracelet for scratch resistance, ljp g100 movement, 150m WR, it just feels like it will take a beating and look like new for many years. "The Canton, and in my case, the Agave dial, is a stunner. Its portions are perfect for my 6 3/4” inch wrist, and perfect with jeans and a t shirt or under the cuff, as it can be dressed up or down as needed. The sunburst textured dial changes color depending on the light and angle, going from an Agave green to a grey/black. It’s a very visually pleasing dial to stare at. The weak link is definitely the bracelet. The on-the-fly micro adjust, while appreciated, feels much cheaper compared to other similarly priced watches like Monta. There is no satisfying click while adjusting, it free floats and snaps into place, often causing you to miss the adjustment you were aiming for. The bracelet itself feels a little stiff because the links don’t fully articulate. This may be a design choice to keep the polished center links from scratching itself, but it doesn’t melt over the wrist like my Monta. Lastly, for some reason, this is the only bracelet I have the pulls hair. The rotor is also very loud from the La Joux Perret, if that matters to you. Mine came shipped at a respectable price+4 s/d. All that being said, I think design-wise, they have a winner. The dial is the clear winner here with a color matching date wheel, beautiful textures and sunburst that dance in the light, and well made portions. Even though I am not a fan of the bracelet, I’m going to keep the watch and put it on a bespoke leather strap, maybe an olive ostrich leather strap to really make that dial pop."

"I have more expensive watches in my collection but I love wearing the Canton in the rotation. The watch wears so well on the wrist and is very versatile. The sunburst green honeycomb dial and the winged indices are a pleasure to look at. Also, the LJP G100 keeps pretty good time as well. 100% recommend."
