Product Overview

The Pursuit Pro is seriously built for the adventurer. Inspired by the trails, the rivers, and sportsmen, the Pursuit Pro is a multipurpose tool watch at the highest level. The 120-click bi-directional bezel features a bezel guard designed to protect the ceramic insert from chipping. It also features a countdown bezel in Swiss SuperLumiNova to ensure visibility during those early morning hikes before sunrise.

The dial has a matte finish and the legibility is great enhanced by solid forms of Lumicast® made with SuperLumiNova Grade X2 which boasts up to 87% performance enhancement over Grade X1. Inside, the Pursuit Pro is powered by a Swiss Made La Joux Perret G101 movement that is regulated in-house to +/-5 seconds per day, which is further protected by an anti-magnetic cage to maintain accuracy. With water resistance up to 200m, the Pursuit Pro is ready to take on any adventure.

Unfailing Swiss Accuracy

Gear is supposed to work with you, not against you. That’s why a Swiss-made La Joux Perret G101 lives at the heart of the Pursuit Pro. The movement is expertly constructed in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland to the highest of standards. The 68 hours of power reserve is generated by the natural motions of your wrist, which means it doesn’t quit when you’re off-the-grid.

Gear-Safe Movement Protection

Every Pursuit Pro is regulated to +/-5 seconds per day by in-house technicians because, in the wild, time is your most important tool. To protect the movement’s accuracy from the potentially harmful magnetic fields from power banks, flashlights, and other outdoor gear, it’s housed in a soft-iron cage. The anti-magnetic movement cage safeguards the watch from magnetic fields of up to 4,800 A/m (roughly 60 Gauss).

Didn’t quite meet my expectations

"Pursuit Pro Review I have had my eye on the Pursuit Pro for at least the last six months. I figured it would fill the void between my Maratac Alto Mare and my Marathon GSAR with a different movement and some seriously amazing lume. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed when I finally received my order. Several factors are going into the overall rating I am giving this watch and I want to be as thorough as possible. Ordered from least issue to biggest issue: 1. The watch strap - I have several single pass and regular Velcro straps from Delcro, Prometheus Design Works, and even cheep amazon stuff. The strap that came with this watch is a little short, even though hit fits my small 6.75” wrists, I felt like it was a bit small. It also seemed a bit rough around the edges, literally, with the threads on the back of the top end feeling scratchy on my wrist to the way the Velcro is attached and not contoured. Easy fix, just swap it out with one I already have - not a big deal except for when you’re spending $1500 on a premium watch. 2. The movement inaccuracy - Jack Mason specifically specifies that all watches are regulated to +-5s/d and unfortunately mine is running +10-15s/d. I have contacted customer support and they are happy to service it under warranty as soon as I have a chance to send it back. 3. The lume - Unfortunately, I am just a little disappointed in the brightness of the lume. Don’t get me wrong, its really good, and the blocks are big enough that it’s easy to read, but it’s not that much better than my Maratac, and still behind the curve from the Marathon (an obvious expectation), still, Jack Mason’s advertising spend a lot of time talking about how great it was and I was expecting it to be a little better than what I got. Overall I still love the watch, biggest problem I have right now is the movement accuracy, but once that’s addressed I think it will be a fantastic watch for the long haul. I would caution you to look at other watches though if you’re primarily interested in this watch because of it’s lume, since buying it I have seen a lot of other microbrands start using lumecast and in a lot of cases they’re using a lot more of it than in this watch."

Perfect Deputy watch

"The Pursuit Pilot Pro has become the watch I trust as a Deputy. From taking calls downtown to long hours out on the reservoir. It’s dependable, easy‑to‑read, and the lume is amazing in dark environments. I’ve had multiple other Deputies compliment it. The watch looks even more stunning in person. Jack Mason originally sent the wrong model, but their customer service corrected it within a few days making it no big deal. It’s going to be my full time watch over the next year, but I definitely plan on picking up another Jack Mason in a year or so."

"This is a really nice watch. I like the fit and it keeps better than +/-5 sec/day. What would make it even better (if that’s possible), would be the option of one of Jack Mason’s awesome steel bracelets to pair with it. I would definitely purchase one to swap out periodically with the strap that came with it or other canvas straps that I have been using on it. Great job JM!"
